Sa-Roc
Sa-Roc is arguably one of the most vibrant MCs in the world today. Her crisp articulation, fiery delivery, and her elevated and insightful lyricism has often placed her within the same conversation of some of Hip Hop’s most notable artists. Once dubbed by Okayplayer as “one of the most formidable microphone mavens in the game,” Sa-Roc is an artist for a socially conscious generation.
Her album, The Sharecropper’s Daughter, the title of which pays homage to her father’s experience growing up sharecropping tobacco, is in Sa-Roc’s own words “a sonic reflection on the generational inheritance of trauma and triumph that shapes our humanity and influences the way we see the world.” At a time where people all around the globe are calling for social change, Sa-Roc is an MC whose energy and conscious lyrics are about to shake up the rap game and remind us all that Hip Hop was always about, giving a voice to the people.

High Museum
“The High Museum is a must, but the muralists in Atlanta are really fantastic too. You can walk around in most neighborhoods and see some incredible art on the sides of buildings. There’s an organization called Living Walls that I’m a big fan of that puts artists together with different projects around the city that are always cool to check out.” – Bathe Alone
“The High Museum is our favorite museum & they’re for tourists” -Edgewood Heavy

“I had an opportunity to perform there once. It’s so stunningly beautiful and always host to such innovative art collections.” – A$H
Tassilis Raw Reality
“Tassili’s Raw Reality in the West End is one those places where if you know, you KNOW. It’s a vegan and mostly raw food restaurant that got famous from their HUGE and delicious kale wraps stuffed to brim with veggies and couscous. The Punany wrap is legendary, beloved by meat and plant based eaters alike, and the lines going out the door are a pretty good indicator of how much of a staple this restaurant is to local foodies.”

ONE Musicfest
“The One Music Festival is something I look forward to every year. Dope music, dope vendors, and a really dope vibe.”
– Sa-Roc
Tabernacle
“My favorite venue is the Definitely the Tabernacle. It’s an old church in downtown Atlanta that was converted into a music venue. It has stained glass windows, murals on the ceiling, and artistic detailing in every inch of the space. I’ve seen some incredible shows there, but the most memorable was probably Dave Chappelle when he filmed his Netflix special, Sticks and Stones, and D’angelo’s Black Messiah tour.”
– Sa-Roc
Herban Fix
“My favorite restaurant right now would have to be Herban Fix. They have really delicious Pan Asian style vegan cuisine. Everything I’ve ordered from the menu is bomb but one of my favorite dishes is the pom pom mushroom steak(made out of mushrooms, of course)!”

Sanktuari of Self
“Sanktuari of Self. It’s a spiritual wellness boutique where I go to grab everything from crystals and sage sticks to delicious locally made teas. The space is absolutely beautiful and the staff is always so warm and welcoming.”
– Sa-Roc
Spiller Park Coffee
“I love to go to Spiller Park Coffee in Ponce City Market. They have the most delicious mocha I’ve ever tasted. It’s always perfectly sweetened and goes really well with this amazing sourdough toast they make that’s slathered with fresh apple butter and local cashew butter.”
– Sa-Roc
Cascade Family Skating
“Whenever I have friends or family in town, we go to Cascade Family Skating. Roller skating culture is still alive and well in Atlanta and their adult skate nights are soooo fun. You can catch skating crews doing dope routines, see couples gliding on the floor in their matching outfits, and even take a break to learn some choreography in the middle of the rink. The music is always really good, especially on Wednesday nights when they play 90s Hiphop and R&B.”
– Sa-Roc
Arden’s Garden
“The only bars I drink at are juice bars and my favorite one is Arden’s Garden in East Point. I always get the spinach slam, which is a smoothie with a yummy blend of spinach(duh), mango, and pineapple juice. Super addictive.”
